Racquet Sports

The official racquet sports season runs from Saturday, May 23, 2026, through Monday, September 1, 2026. During the season, the shop and courts are open Tuesday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with exceptions for the following: holidays, league play, instructional lessons and clinics, special events, spring and fall programs.

The courts are open during Clubhouse hours and are closed on Mondays. If the courts are locked, they are closed due to maintenance, weather conditions, or a lack of reservations. Any closures will be determined by the Tennis Professional and communicated via ForeTees. Please do not request exceptions to these hours.

Reservations are required for all activities and can be made via ForeTees up to two weeks in advance in 1.5-hour increments. Please contact Jennifer Wilhelm Zeuschel if you require alternative arrangements.

All members and guests must check in at the Racquet Shop prior to play. A guest fee of $10 per guest will be charged to the member's account.

Proper racquet sport attire is required at all times. Players must wear court shoes—running shoes, hiking boots, and flip-flops are not allowed—and appropriate tennis or athletic wear; swimwear is not permitted.

Proper tennis and pickleball etiquette is expected at all times. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please help keep our facility clean by disposing of all trash in the provided bins.

In the event of inclement weather, the shop and courts may be required to close. We utilize the ThorGuard Lightning Detection System. Immediately following the first siren, everyone on club grounds—including the golf course, pool, courts, patio, and terrace—must exit and seek the nearest safe shelter. Regular activities may only resume once the "all clear" siren has sounded. Ignoring these warnings is not permitted.

Visit the Racquet Sports Shop and check out our large assortment of Wilson and Babolat demo racquets available for special orders. We offer court shoes, hats, balls and accessories that are always in style. Enjoy men’s, ladies, and junior clothing lines that reflect the Greenbriar Hills lifestyle.

 

MEMBER DISCOUNT

All members receive member prices in the Racquet Shop which is less than the retail and we will beat any competitor’s price on the same product.

We are happy to special order any of our offerings at the member discount.

 

BEVERAGES

A limited selection of soda, sports drinks, beer, seltzers and wine are available for members to sign for.

 

RETURN POLICY

We are glad to accept any returns within 10 days of purchase when brought back unworn and with the original tags attached. We do not accept any returns on special orders.

We offer a variety of tennis programs, clinics, and leagues for our membership including men, women, and children no matter their age, skill level, or experience. Greenbriar Hills is excited to offer pickleball programs, clinics, and leagues to our members in the future. More information to come.

TINY TOTS CLINIC | Ages 4 - 6

• Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Cost: $40 per week or $25 per day

STARS CLINIC | Ages 7 - 10

• Dates: Tuesday & Thursday
• Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Cost: $60 per week or $35 per day

SUPER STARS CLINIC | Ages 11 - 15

• Date: Tuesday & Thursday
• Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Cost: $60 per week or $35 per day

TEAM TENNIS | Ages 8 - 12

• Season: May 27 – July 30
• Cost: $430 per season (non-refundable)
• Practice: Wednesdays, 1:00 – 2:30 PM (focus on stroke development & strategy)
• Matches: Fridays, 1:00 – 2:30 PM (Home or away; details via ForeTees)
• Requirements: Players must be able to rally from the baseline, serve, and keep score. Team shirts are provided and should be worn on match days with white skirts or shorts with pockets.

HIGH SCHOOL PREP | Ages 13 - 15

• Season: May 29 – July 30
• Cost: $430 per season (non-refundable)
• Practice: Tuesdays, 1:00 – 2:30 PM (clinic format covering fundamentals & live ball drills)
• Matches: Fridays, 1:00 – 2:30 PM (Home or away; details via ForeTees)
• Requirements: Team shirts are provided and should be worn on match days with white skirts or shorts with pockets.
