Greenbriar Hills Country Club takes pride in providing a traditional, quality private club experience. General
 
Cell Phone and Wireless Device Policy: The use of wireless devices including cell phones, laptops, tablets, games, etc. is not banned in the club house; however we do require that they be put on vibrate mode or muted and members/guests excuse themselves from the dining areas when talking on cell phones.
 
Smoking Policy: Smoking including the use of electronic cigarettes of any kind is not permitted in the Greenbriar Hills Clubhouse, on the Garden Terrace, Pool Deck or in any other Club Buildings.  Smoking is permitted on the Patio and at the Patio Bar.  Smoking of cannabis, marijuana or hemp products is not permitted on Club Property. 
 

Dress Code
 
The Club observes a relaxed yet conservative dress code – tasteful and appropriate attire is expected at all times.
 
General:
 
1.      Work-out attire, including sweat suits/track suits is not permitted.
2.      Appropriate swim attire is permitted only within the pool area and the Patio. Shoes must be worn at all times.  Cover-ups or proper outer attire must be worn over swim attire when traveling between locker rooms and the pool/patio areas.
3.      Gentlemen’s Attire: Tailored slacks and shorts of appropriate length are required, as are sleeved shirts with collars or turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks or dress crew-necks. Shirts are to be tucked in unless tailored for outer wear.  Types of gentlemen’s clothing not permitted include:  cargo pants/shorts, frayed or excessively baggy pants/shorts, short shorts, cutoffs, tee shirts, tank tops, gym attire.          
4.      Ladies’ Attire:  Tailored attire is required.  Shorts and skirts/skorts of appropriate length are required. Types of ladies’ clothing which are not permitted are: cargo pants/shorts, frayed or excessively baggy pants/shorts, short shorts, cutoffs, tee shirts, tube tops, gym attire.  
5.      Locker Rooms must be used when changing clothes/shoes.  
 
Hats:  Hats, caps and visors are not permitted to be worn by gentlemen anywhere in the Clubhouse, except in the Locker Room, the Pro Shop, the West Hallway, the Board Room, and Terrace.  All hats, caps and visors should be worn with the bill facing forward.
 
Denim:  Denim is permitted throughout the Club. All denim must be tasteful and in good condition. 

Childrens Dress Code: Children 10 years of age and older are to comply with the Dress Code Policy, including no youth sports uniforms. For children under the age of 10, members and guests are asked to encourage proper attire (for example, appropriate shirts tucked into pants/shorts, no youth sports uniforms etc.)
 
Golf Course, including Driving Range, Putting Green and Practice Holes:
1.      Proper golf attire includes:
a.       For Gentlemen: Tailored slacks and shorts (no shorter than mid-thigh length) are required, as are sleeved shirts with collars or turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks or dress crew-necks.  Shirts must be tucked in.  Also permitted are sport sweaters, jackets, golf outerwear, rain suits.  All hats, caps and visors should be worn with the bill facing forward.
b.      For Ladies:  Tailored slacks, capris and shorts/skirts/skorts (no shorter than mid-thigh length) are required, as are tailored shirts/tops.  Also permitted are golf dresses, sport sweaters, jackets, golf outerwear, rain suits.
c.       Attire not permitted for golf:  cargo pants/shorts, frayed or excessively baggy pants/shorts, blue denim, gym sweatshirts/sweatpants, tennis or swim attire, tee shirts of any kind, tank tops, halter tops.
2.      Soft-spike (non-penetrating cleat) golf shoes or tennis shoes are required on the Golf Course and the Practice Holes.
3.      Swim attire is not permitted on the Putting Green.
4.      Flat-bottomed shoes are required on the Putting Green. 
 
 
Golf Guest Policies
 
1.      Guests are encouraged to use the bag drop provided by the club.
2.      All golf guests are required to check in with the Pro Shop before playing.
3.      U.S.G.A. Rules govern Greenbriar Hills Country Club golf. Additional local rules concerning the course will be provided by the Pro Shop.
4.      Practice on the golf course is strictly prohibited.
5.      Golfers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult while at the range.
Putting only is permitted on the practice green located between the Clubhouse and the first tee.  The designated practice areas must be used for chipping and pitchingGUEST POLICIES
